This is a picture of my lovely mother with me Andy brothers which was taken last year. Mum passed away on 15th March 2020 peacefully in her sleep in a lovely nursing home where she had chosen to end her days. She died knowing that she was loved by us all and was cared for by wonderful nurses who made sure she was in no pain and showed her great love and kindness. She faced her last illness, a cruel cancer, with courage and determination, only moving to the nursing home when she could no longer look after herself. Mum made friends wherever she went and many visited her and sent loving messages to her in the home, all of which pleased her greatly. Most of all, she loved being with family and we all visited as much as possible. I will miss her so much, but will always remember her lovely smile, laughter and, above all, love.
